Nếu chăm sóc kỹ, để ý từng li từng tý chắc chắn bạn sẽ phát hiện chiến kê của mình có những thay đổi hay điều gì đó khác so với ngày thường. Vậy nên chúng tôi đã tổng hợp những dấu hiệu phổ biến nhất khi gà bị bệnh, bạn cần nắm rõ những triệu chứng này, như:

– Gà bỏ ăn, ủ rũ
– Chảy nước mắt nước mũi

Thứ nhất – Tách gà bị bệnh ra khỏi đàn
Với những kê sư nuôi gà công nghiệp thì tỷ lệ gà chết thường cao hơn so với chiến kê nuôi gà đá. Bởi gà công nghiệp được nuôi nhốt chung, khi một con mắc bệnh, nguy cơ lây lan sang những con khác rất cao.
Ngược lại gà chiến phục vụ cho các trận đá gà trực tiếp thì khác. Chúng có bản tính máu chiến. Việc nuôi nhốt chung có thể xảy ra “đánh nhau”, cọ mỏ, xoi bọi,…. Nên phần lớn đều nuôi nhốt riêng. Khi có một cá thể nào đó bị bệnh thì khả năng lây nhiễm cũng giảm xuống.
Mặc dù vậy khi phát hiện gà đá của bạn mắc bệnh, việc đầu tiên cần làm là nuôi nhốt gà ở một khu tách biệt. Đôi khi một cơn gió đi qua hay các vật trung gian như ruồi, muỗi, gián, chuột,… cũng làm phát tán bệnh.
Nuôi nhốt riêng để hạn chế lay nhiễm
Thứ hai – Xác nhận lại các triệu chứng và phán đoán bệnh để có cách chăm sóc gà phù hợp
Giống như con người, khi bị bệnh sẽ có các triệu chứng như ho, sốt, buồn nôn, mệt mỏi,…. Gà cũng vậy, những dấu hiệu như ủ rũ, bỏ ăn, không hoạt động nhiều,.. đều cho biết chúng hiện không khỏe.
Nhưng đó chỉ là triệu chứng chung, bạn cần xác định những dấu hiệu rõ ràng hơn như mắt gà có sưng không, phân có màu không, ké có mùi hôi hay không,… Sau đó tìm đến tiệm thuốc để được bác sĩ thú y hỗ trợ.
Thứ ba – Chế độ dinh dưỡng và chuồng nuôi rất quan trọng
Trong giai đoạn gà bị bệnh, cách chăm sóc gà tốt nhất không chỉ nằm ở thuốc điều trị mà còn ở chế độ dinh dưỡng và chuồng nuôi.
Gà bị bệnh thường ăn rất ít, thậm chí nhiều con còn bỏ ăn. Nhưng anh em phải buộc chúng ăn, như vậy mới có sức khỏe để khỏi bệnh, tăng sức đề kháng. Không cần ăn nhiều nhưng phải ăn để cầm cự. Trong trường hợp gà bị đói quá mức sẽ chuyển sang còi cọc, suy, sau này rất khó chữa.
Khi phát hiện gà bị bệnh, kê sư cần tiến hành tổng vệ sinh, phun thuốc khử trùng chuồng ngay. Nhất là với những bệnh truyền nhiễm, bởi nguy cơ lây lan rất cao. Đồng thời vệ sinh máng ăn, máng uống thường xuyên.

Ông bà xưa có câu “Phòng bệnh hơn chữa bệnh”. Những con gà không bị ốm trong đàn chưa chắc đã an toàn. Có thể chúng đang trong giai đoạn ủ bệnh. Do đó ngoài tập trưng chăm sóc, chữa bệnh cho gà. Anh em cần bổ sung thêm vitamin, khoáng chất, chất điện giải,… cho các gà chiến còn lại. Chúng sẽ giúp gà tăng sức đề kháng và khỏe mạnh hơn, lướt qua bệnh tật.
