Đáng chú ý nhất là phần cuối mồng thường có nhiều hình dáng đa dạng. Chẳng hạn như kiểu đuôi mồng chỏm kéo dài, hoặc chỏm mồng hơi ngóc lên trên. Hay chỏm nằm ngang hoặc cong xuống rất bắt mắt.

Tuy nhiên, nếu gà mồng Vua có xuất hiện các gai nhỏ lỏm chỏm ở giữa mồng thì được cho là gà tướng xấu, không tốt. Do đó, bạn hãy chú ý thật kỹ lưỡng đến đặc điểm này đối với giống gà mồng Vua.
