Bệnh khô chân ở gà chọi là một trong những loại bệnh khá phổ biến. Vậy nguyên nhân và cách điều trị hiệu quả với căn bệnh này ở gà chiến như thế nào?

Nguyên nhân và cách điều trị hiệu quả cho bệnh khô chân ở gà chọi là một trong những câu hỏi được gửi nhiều nhất đến đá gà SV388. Bởi đây là một trong những loại bệnh phổ biến gặp ở gà thường và cả gà chọi. Dù không quá nghiêm trọng nhưng nếu không được điều trị, bệnh sẽ gây ảnh hưởng tới sức khỏe của gà, khả năng chinh chiến, thậm chí là dẫn đến tử vong.

Bệnh khô chân ở gà chọi là bệnh gì?

Bệnh khô chân ở gà chọi khá hay gặp trong quá trình chăn nuôi. Khi bị mắc bệnh, hai chân gà teo tóp đi, co quắp, da dẻ khô nứt như đất thiếu nước. Bên cạnh đó, gà còn có hiện tượng ủ rũ, mắt trắng nhợt, lười ăn uống, sụt cân nghiêm trọng.

Nguyên nhân gây ra bệnh khô chân ở gà chọi

Gà chọi bị khô chân thường xảy ra trong hai giai đoạn. Một là khi nuôi ở lúc mới nở. Hai là khi gà đã đạt trọng lượng trên 1kg. Trong mỗi một giai đoạn, nguyên nhân dẫn đến tình trạng chân gà bị khô lại khác nhau.

Gà bị khô chân khi mới nuôi từ lúc nhỏ

Có không ít trường hợp ghi nhận gà bị khô chân ngay từ khi mới nở, dù là từ máy ấp trứng hay gà mẹ ấp. Nguyên nhân chủ yếu dẫn tới tình trạng này là do:

  • Mật độ úm gà quá đông: trong một không gian nhỏ, bạn lại úm quá nhiều gà con cùng một lúc.
  • Gà không được cung cấp nước uống đầy đủ: có thể bạn quên, không để ý tới việc cho gà uống nước hàng ngày. Hoặc có cho uống nhưng với lượng nước ít ỏi, khiến cơ thể gà không có đủ nguồn nước cần thiết cho sự phát triển của mình.
  • Thiết kế máng đựng nước gây khó khăn cho gà khi uống nước: gà con có chiều cao thấp, mỏ nhỏ, kích thước cơ thể nhỏ bé. Do đó, nếu để máng đựng nước quá cao hoặc làm quá to lớn sẽ khiến gà con khó tiếp cận được với nguồn nước bên trong.

Gà bị khô chân khi mới nuôi từ lúc nhỏ

  • Nhiệt độ chuồng nuôi không phù hợp: trong quá trình nuôi gà con, nhiệt độ, môi trường của chuồng nuôi đóng vai trò quan trọng. Do chúng còn nhỏ, sức đề kháng yếu, cơ thể non nớt, nếu quá nóng hoặc quá lạnh cũng khiến chúng bị mất nước nhanh chóng, dẫn tới khô chân.

So với gà con mới nở thì gà chọi trưởng thành trên 1kg có nguy cơ mắc bệnh khô chân cao hơn. Bởi lúc này, chúng sẽ bị xâm hại bởi nhiều nguồn bệnh khác nhau. Như bệnh newcastle (gà rù), bệnh thương hàn, bệnh ỉa chảy mất nước,… Chính những căn bệnh này dẫn tới tình trạng khô chân, gây mất nước ở gà.

Cách điều trị hiệu quả bệnh khô chân ở gà chọi

Như đã phân tích ở trên, bệnh khô chân gặp ở gà chọi được phân làm 2 giai đoạn. Do đó, tùy thuộc vào từng giai đoạn, nguyên nhân mà có cách điều trị phù hợp.

Với gà con

Khi gà con bị khô chân mà không kèm các biểu hiện nào đặc biệt thì bạn chỉ cần cho gà uống nước đầy đủ hằng ngày. Nếu do mật độ úm quá nhiều thì bạn cần sắp xếp, bố trí lại mật độ úm hợp lý, vừa phải.

Đồng thời, bạn cần cho gà ăn đầy đủ chất. Một ngày ăn nhiều lần, mỗi lần một ít, chớ đem đổ 1 loạt thức ăn vào máng cho gà. Máng đựng nước cần thiết kế phù hợp, đảm bảo gà con không gặp khó khăn khi tìm nguồn cung cấp nước cho cơ thể của mình.

Bên cạnh đó, bạn cũng cần lưu ý tới nhiệt độ trong chuồng gà. Với ngày đầu cần đủ 37oC, mỗi ngày sau giảm đi 1 độ cho tới khi được một tuần tuổi, nhiệt độ cần đảm bảo ở mức 30 – 31oC. Còn từ ngày thứ 14 đủ 25 – 27oC, sau 21 ngày tuổi thì tùy theo thời tiết. Nhưng nếu vào mùa khô, nắng nóng thì bạn cần tăng cường độ ẩm cho chuồng thông qua việc sử dụng vòi xịt tạo hơi nước. Về ban đêm, bạn không được để nhiệt độ quá thấp, cần đảm bảo không dưới 22oC.

Ngoài ra, bạn nên sử dụng các thuốc kháng sinh để trộn vào thức ăn hoặc nước uống giúp nâng cao sức đề kháng. Cùng với đó là cho uống thêm chất điện giải Gluco-c, Vitamin ADE trong 15 ngày liên tục và men tiêu hóa, khoáng chất Premix, Vitamin Bcomplex trong 2 tháng liên tục khi gà có được sức khỏe mạnh như bình thường.

Với gà trưởng thành

Đối với việc điều trị bệnh khô chân cho gà trưởng thành sẽ khó khăn hơn.

  • Trước hết, bạn cần cách ly những con có triệu chứng của bệnh để theo dõi cũng như thuận tiện cho công tác chữa trị.
  • Sau đó, bạn tiến hành vệ sinh tổng thể chuồng trại, loại bỏ sạch chất độn cũ.
  • Kế đến, bạn dùng thuốc kháng sinh để gia tăng sức đề kháng cho gà. Như thuốc Pharmox, Pharmequin, Ampicol hay Pharcolivet. thời gian điều trị trong vòng 5 ngày. Đồng thời, bạn dùng thêm Dizavit-plus 2g/1 lít nước để khống chế vi khuẩn, uống liên tục 5 ngày.
  • Nếu bệnh có xu hướng nặng lên, bạn cần tham khảo ngay ý kiến của các bác sĩ thú y gần nhất.
